I have found, that your trip reports are great to read, and you disclose if a place is not your usual type (ex. T&C) Having said that, by disclosing what your tastes are puts it in perspective and your reports are always fair! (and fun to read)I love bright white sand and turquoise waters like Corona commercials, so I tend not to like the hillier islands.Places I would never return? Bequia is my number 1, I couldn't get out of there faster--lost all my deposit and payed extra to leave, and didn't care. Another is a favorite of many: Costa Rica. Again, maybe I expected too much by the time I got there, it did nothing for me. (Although the coffee was superb and the zip lines were a blast!) Dominican Republic, while the beaches were pretty, I felt in real life seemed on the dirty side. India, while amazing for most, just depressed me. Detroit and Tokyo I never have to return. But keep my tastes in mind-I'm not generally a city girl. While not a mountain girl, I thought New Zealand was the most spectacular scenery in the world, yet Australia did nothing for me. (for the same scenery I found Arizona superior and not as far.) Tahiti smells, but you have to go through there to get to gorgeous Bora Bora and Moorea.Maybe next blob should be: What destinations totally surprised you?

I totally respect that people have different tastes and that they are subjective. The name is sort of an homage to Biggie Smalls, just has been my username as long as I've been on the internet.Interesting what you say about Ischia, I went there in December 2001 and had a very different experience, but I get what you're saying. I would say the same about Punta del Este, Uruguay. We found many lovely coastal towns in Uruguay, but found Punta to just be trashy, crowded and charmless.Look forward to reading more responses!

Honored that you have called me gangster! That's easy. Cape Cod and Nantucket, the shrine to too many people, too much tourism, and too much money.

The worst place? That’s easy.
