Photo Friday: Alaska Buoys

by Don Faust on April 6, 2012

This week’s Photo Friday: Buoys used as home decor in Wrangell, Alaska.

This is the latest of our weekly travel photo series, inspired by #FriFotos on Twitter.

Alaska buoys

This week’s #FriFotos theme is BALLS. We saw these buoys hanging in a window in Wrangell, Alaska, a community in the Inside Passage. It’s a clever way of decorating in a town that lives for fishing and the water.

I love it! Anything that had to do with the water I love. I also never thought of using buoys as decoration but this definitely looks good!
