I really thought the Sassy Bitch Wine was awesome. The Pinot was incredible. And considering the modest price in stores ($9.99), it is not only a bargain, but awesome for the price. And it’s Chilean! You go sassy bitches!

I agree with the advice to go early…we’ve packed blankets, muffins and a
thermos of coffee and had a breakfast picnic under the trees (get there by 7). Another great option is to have brunch at the nearby Mandarin Oriental and walk off the calories

This time of year Spring Fever hits me like I’m 13 all over again and I make rash decisions if I don’t indulge my restlessness with a road trip or two. Just got back from the Napa Valley, where the wild mustard is blooming in the vineyards – hoping that’s far enough for now!

I have to confess to being a green/water person, which makes it difficult at times to live in central Arizona: A destination world famous for its arid climate. While others might hail climbing the local mountains or boating on one of the local lakes as Phoenix’s ideal escapes – mine is far more intimate. Every Sunday evening I rummage around my room for an old beat up pair of Keen shoes (whose soles are worn almost smooth), a pair of jeans, and a nightclub friendly dress shirt. Then, bottle of water in hand, I make the 20 minute trek from North Scottsdale, where I live, to Paragon Dance Studio in South Tempe for the Sunday Night Salsa Social.

i never being to a wine festival before, probably cause a glass of wine would be enough to make me dizzy eh eh
the best wine i ever tried was the sauvignon blanc while in NZ

It’s the exact same way when I go home to Trinidad and Tobago. Tons and tons of bugs…ewww! I recommend wearing capris so that way most of your legs are covered and I either wore 3/4 sleeve tops or t-shirts.

I saw the Wine Expo too but I was tired Friday from shoveling snow and then heading to the Travel Show I just skipped it. But good to know for next time.
