We spent this past August in Grenada (for carnival). My husband is a Grenadian. I must say I ABSOLUTELY feel in love with this beautiful island!! There was a group of 6 of us that went, and everyone in the group agree’s that Grenada is worth a second even a third trip back! The food was amazing, Carnival was amazing, the sheer beauty of the island has me looking for land to buy : ) Yes, it was a pain in the butt to get to (14 hour delay in Barbados…thanks Liat!) but very much worth the headache. I am counting the days till I return, and hopefully its soon!

contrary to your belief, Student Loans are not ‘Parents’ money. Sorry, that was the only part that perturbed me seeing as though I will be paying that back when i am done. Not my parents’. Good info otherwise. Beach house has gotten better in my opinion

Nutrisi – you should go… you won’t be disappointed. Grenada was the first Caribbean island I visited maybe 12-15 years ago. When I found out Chris was going for a story, I knew she would like it. It has about everything you would want – a city and countryside to explore, waterfalls, snorkeling/scuba, lots of sailing, good food, and very nice locals.

Hi, i’m from Grenada, i really like the way you made your report, a factual one i might add, being a “born and bred” Grenadian i see no “big deal” in restaurants or hotel life so i can’t to say much on those topics. However i sure hope that the owners,managers, and stakeholders of the businesses you reviewed here take your words into consideration to improve wherever in whatever area they need too…sure hope u get to experience Carnival in Grenada sometime…would love to read about your experince…until then…Grenada Rocks!!! you do too
