This week’s Photo Friday is one of Don’s pictures of Death Valley, the famed Devil’s Golf Course salt flats.

A geography of extremes, Death Valley contains mountains, canyons, salt flats, sand dunes, and pictured above, Devil’s Golf Course. This moon crater-like landscape contains delicate formations of mud and salt deposits that have expanded and contracted in the desert’s heat.
