For our last stop on our four-day tour through central Mexico highlands, we spent two days in San Miguel de Allende. I had actually joined the tour primarily so I could visit this town, well-known as an artist town/expat haven.</p><p>With cobblestone streets and little modern construction, San Miguel is extremely quaint, almost too much so (I liked Guanajuato, a lesser known university town about two hours way from SMA, better).
